A New Cooking Adventure – Day 2

Another day, another meal. There is one this I’ve trying to not do during this time of quarantine and that is to snack at all times of the day. I didn’t do it before and I really don’t want to be developing any bad habits. What I should be doing is working to develop good habits given that I have a marginal amount of new “free” time.

During my typical work week, I’m usually hustling to get everyone, including myself, out the door for school and work with everything we need for the day. There is nothing I hate more than getting a call or realizing something has been left at home. Right before we started our new self-isolation life, I was just getting into make sure I had enough time to blend my daily harvest smoothie before I ran out the door. Now, I have more time and I love it! Here’s what I made this morning and it was yummy, filling and better for me than the Pop Tart my kiddo asked me for breakfast this morning.

Here’s what you need:

Ingerdients:

  • Your favorite yogurt
  • Granola or Muesli
  • Canned, fresh or frozen fruit

Use what you have! I typically like fresh fruit but during these times, anything will work.

There you have it. The easiest, fairly healthy, breakfast for your fast paced quarantine mornings!
